Adrienne ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Over the last 18 months, I've had several salon experiences that were better suited for nightmares. The last unhappy experience brought me very close to deciding between two very unattractive choices: I was either going to shave off every strand of hair OR never let anyone touch it again. Luckily, I discovered that my new neighbor owns Reflections, and after having a conversation with her, I was thinking logically again and felt I could trust her with my hair. As I drove to my first appointment at Reflections, I was mentally preparing myself to handle the usual salon atmosphere that I haven't been able to escape since moving to this area in 2002. I was prepared to walk into a salon decked out in glitz and glimmer--you know what I mean; the sort of decor that gives you a sinking feeling that you probably don't have enough money with you. I was prepared to be confronted by staff members that are polite, but not friendly. Fortunately, all of my mental preparation was unnecessary, and as I took in my surrounding of Reflections, I sighed in relief. The first thing I noticed was a homey, comforting atmosphere, the pleasing aesthetics, and the fact that each of the salon technicians were paying attention to their customers rather than having a conversation among themselves. I instantly relaxed and knew that I was finally going to have a good salon experience. My personal experience at Reflections exceeded my highest expectations! Debbie took the time to listen to my likes and dislikes regarding my hair. Then she went a step further to clarify, making sure we understood one another. Debbie also assessed my current hair dilemma and explained how she was going to fix it! Then she performed the impossible: my bad hair was shaped into a very attractive style that I didn't think I'd see for at least a year! That is service that you won't find in every salon. Reflections is exactly what a great salon should be! You will feel at home and be treated like a friend. You will be listened to, paid attention to and understood.
